Classic Tales: Challenge 1.4 – Alone in the Dark - Stop Motion

Exploring a vast stronghold alone, Steve loses his way in the dark. Well, he is not totally alone. Can you build something to help Steve? Remember you can upload a picture of your creation to the gallery.

The Ruined Portal

Steve needs a new set of netherite armor. But first, you must mine obsidian rock to repair a ruined portal. Pass through the portal into the fiery red Nether, where a wither skeleton and hoglin are waiting! Battle your way to the ancient debris then return through the portal. Mine gold for the furnace, then craft Steve’s new helmet, armor and sword. Now you’re ready for your next adventure!

LEGO® Minecraft® lets players get involved with their creations in the real world. And there’s so much fun to have! For example… In The Panda Haven, players can build a panda-shaped house, then make it either sit down or stand up! The Bee Cottage provides a big, bee-shaped house to shelter in while 2 angry bees race around a tree with the flick of a finger! Push the launcher in The End Arena and send lava blocks shooting from the mouth of the Ender Dragon statue!

The Waterfall Base

You’ve joined forces with Alex to build the ultimate shelter, from where you can venture deeper into the mountainous Minecraft™ landscape. This awesome, huge shelter with its rooftop garden, waterfall and secret lava entrance has put your Minecraft creativity and building expertise to the test, now it's time to sit back and relax. Shear the dyed sheep, do a spot of fishing to feed the cat, grow crops and organize them in the chests, and enjoy the base's luxury interior, with carpets, anvil, oven, 3 crafting tables and multiple rooms and doors. It’s the perfect base to defend against the endermen, zombies and other hostile mobs that roam after nightfall!

The Frozen Peaks

Deep in the Frozen Peaks biome, buried beneath the ice, lies coal, iron and emerald ore. Before you begin mining, build a shelter and gather food. But look out! A Creeper™ and a stray are trying to wreck your mission. When they attack, will you escape through the perilous dripstone cave, use TNT to blow up the mountain so you can reach your shelter, or get a goat to ram them off the cliff edge?

Did you know you can sleep in a thunderstorm?

Ordinarily, you can only get some shut-eye for Steve at night time. But did you know that you can sleep during the day if there’s a thunderstorm. And when you wake up, the storm will be over!

We try to have as many new mobs and blocks as possible based on the latest updates. We work closely with Mojang as well, to know which are the most popular mobs and new features coming to the game.

The Pillager Outpost

Pillagers have trapped an Iron Golem in a cage. Can the brave Knight save the Villagers’ friend from the hostile mobs? It’s up to you! Use the TNT to blast open the cage, then raise your axe ready to tackle the Pillagers. But where are they hiding? In the tent or in the archery practice area? Look out for the sheep! When you’ve beaten the Pillagers, rearrange the 3-part model for a new adventure!

The Armory

Enter the Minecraft® Armory, where the Armorsmith works with an anvil, furnace, grindstone and lava-filled cauldron. Be careful not to spill lava on those rare terracotta tiles! Then join Alex as she inspects the armor. Open the chest to find a golden axe, enchanted trident, diamond sword, shield and other cool resources which you can use when you go through the Nether portal into a new adventure.

The Pumpkin Farm

Check out Steve’s pumpkin patch, where even the farm building is shaped like a pumpkin! With an egg and sugar stored in his chest, Steve’s preparing to make a pumpkin pie. But when a witch’s potion crashes down at his feet (narrowly missing a frog!), Steve swaps his hoe for his bow. Can he protect his farm from the potion-flinging witch, or will he escape by boat then launch a surprise attack?

The Coral Reef

Join Alex beneath the Minecraft™ ocean as she searches the colorful coral reef for hidden treasure. Say ‘Hi’ to the 2 friendly pufferfish. Turn the big yellow rock to make the treasure chest appear. What’s inside? Just a fish and… a pearl! Watch out! A drowned is heading your way! Will Alex defeat the zombie and keep the treasure? Only you can decide.

The End Portal

The eyes of ender have led you across a snowy mountainous landscape to a secret stronghold. Don your diamond armor, grab your diamond sword and proceed with caution! Search for bookshelves in the cobwebbed, torchlit library. Battle the scary cave spider and seize the chest containing diamonds, redstone and an iron ingot. Then defeat the endermen to retrieve the eyes of ender and activate the End portal!

The Dungeon

Venture into The Dungeon on a perilous quest for valuable ores! Craft torches from your resources to light your way and disable the mob spawner. Wield your iron pickaxe to defeat the roaming zombies, then mine the gold ore and grab the chest containing wheat and redstone. But watch out… zombies can spawn anywhere! Rebuild the set for more LEGO® Minecraft™ creations! Includes 3 minifigures with assorted accessories: Steve and 2 zombies.

BigFig Pig with Baby Zombie

Bring the coolest computer game to life with this Minecraft™ BigFig Pig and Baby Zombie! The tiny terror is fast and dangerous – and when he’s riding a Pig, anything can happen! Position and pose the Pig’s head and legs, move Baby Zombie’s head, legs and arms… and when the action’s over, they’ll look awesome in your room alongside other characters from the LEGO® Minecraft BigFig collection.

The Frog House

Build the Swamp Explorer a Frog-shaped house containing everything a Minecrafter needs: a bed, crafting table, furnace, chest, cake and honey. Outside, there’s a farm where you can harvest beetroot, wheat and flowers. If a Zombie appears, fend them off with a diamond sword, then escape across the lake in a boat. But, the exciting adventure continues when a Drowned emerges holding a trident!

The Axolotl House

Dive underwater and explore the cute and colorful Axolotl House. There are lots of friendly creatures to meet. Check out the treasure-finding dolphin and the axolotl in a bucket! There’s more to discover inside, including a smelting furnace and a sponge to suck up any water leaks. But when a drowned attacks, it’s time to grab your sword and join the axolotls to defend your deep-sea base!

The Skeleton Attack

Prepare for battle with the LEGO® Minecraft™ 21146 The Skeleton Attack set! You’ve reached the edge of a Minecraft forest in the wake of a lightning storm. A skeleton horseman has spawned, complete with enchanted helmet and bow, and is approaching from the horizon together with its army of skeletons. Construct a shelter with a crafting table, bed and furnace, and prepare for battle! Craft a stone sword and build a trapdoor to surprise the hostile invaders, then tend to your crops, shear your redsheep and await the skeleton attack!

BigFig Creeper™ and Ocelot

Enjoy Minecraft™ characters, big time! Will the BigFig Creeper™ ambush the quick-witted Ocelot? Or will the yellow mob scare the green beast away? Only you can decide! Move the Creeper’s feet and head (don’t worry, it won’t explode!). Adjust the Ocelot’s head, legs and tail. And when the action stops, the BigFig Creeper and Ocelot will look awesome on display in your room!

The Iron Golem

The sun is heading for the horizon and hostile mobs will soon be roaming the Minecraft™ landscape. You'll need to protect yourself and your baby pig! Mine the iron ore with your diamond pickaxe, smelt iron ingots in the furnace and craft iron blocks using the crafting table. Then use the pumpkin head to create the iron golem, and spring a surprise attack on the zombie!

How do you stop a skeleton?

A Minecraft® warrior must be skilled in making weapons as well as using them. That is why the Training Grounds has a level for building weapons and a level for building skills.
