Minecraft™ Moments – Lydia Winters

We’ve all had a head-in-hands moment while playing Minecraft™, right? Well so have the pros! CaptainSparklez and AntVenom have both told us their epic fail stories, and now it’s Lydia’s turn. What happens when you aggravate a Wolf? Well, MinecraftChick (aka Lydia from Mojang!) found out the hard way when she first started playing the game. The Pumpkin Farm

Check out Steve’s pumpkin patch, where even the farm building is shaped like a pumpkin! With an egg and sugar stored in his chest, Steve’s preparing to make a pumpkin pie. But when a witch’s potion crashes down at his feet (narrowly missing a frog!), Steve swaps his hoe for his bow. Can he protect his farm from the potion-flinging witch, or will he escape by boat then launch a surprise attack?

The Axolotl House

Dive underwater and explore the cute and colourful Axolotl House. There are lots of friendly creatures to meet. Check out the treasure-finding dolphin and the axolotl in a bucket! There’s more to discover inside, including a smelting furnace and a sponge to suck up any water leaks. But when a drowned attacks, it’s time to grab your sword and join the axolotls to defend your deep-sea base!

Did you know you can sleep in a thunderstorm?

Ordinarily, you can only get some shut-eye for Steve at night time. But did you know that you can sleep during the day if there’s a thunderstorm. And when you wake up, the storm will be over!

Build a mushroom house in the real world!

The Desert Outpost

Hostile mobs are spawning like never before, and the desert is becoming a very scary place to be… it's time to build The Desert Outpost! Help Alex construct the house and lookout tower, build a protective wall and ring the fortress with burning torches. Have the tame wolf stand guard while you craft a bed, table, door, ladder and a boat, then sail out in search of crops to farm within the outpost walls. As darkness falls, silhouettes of approaching skeletons appear on the desert horizon. Grab your weapons, load up the TNT launcher, and prepare for battle! Psst… have you heard about portals?

In case you’ve been hiding under an Obsidian rock and haven’t heard about portals... did you know that building the black rocks into a specific formation will open a door to the Nether? What few people know is that you can actually harvest back the corners of a Nether portal or replace them with other blocks and it will still work!

The Mountain Cave – Stop Motion

While mining in the mountain cave, Steve wakes an unpleasant enemy from deep within the mine shaft. But sensing that her friend is in danger, Alex hops in a mine cart to save the day.

The Farm

Yield renewable resources with The Farm! You'll need food to survive, so fence in the livestock and channel the flowing water to nurture the crops. Harvest pumpkins, wheat, sugar cane and carrots. Use the crafting table to create a pumpkin helmet or jack-o'-lantern. But watch out for the skeleton with his bow and arrow after nightfall! Rebuild the set for more LEGO® Minecraft™ creations or combine with 21115 The First Night and other sets in the series for an even bigger Minecraft adventure! Includes a Steve minifigure with an accessory, plus a skeleton, cow and a sheep.

Fun stuff to get your hands on!

LEGO® Minecraft® lets players get involved with their creations in the real world. And there’s so much fun to have! For example… In The Panda Haven, players can build a panda-shaped house, then make it either sit down or stand up! The Bee Cottage provides a big, bee-shaped house to shelter in while 2 angry bees race around a tree with the flick of a finger! Push the launcher in The End Arena and send lava blocks shooting from the mouth of the Ender Dragon statue!

The Horse Stable

Caring for horses at the Minecraft™ stable is fun – and dangerous! Open the stable doors to feed carrots to the 2 horses and – boom! – a skeleton rider comes charging at you on a skeleton horse! Maybe he’s trying to steal the golden carrot? Can you fight him off before it’s time to build the obstacle course? Will the big horse beat the little pony, or will its diamond armour slow it down?

The Wool Farm

Grab your shears and get to work at The Wool Farm, complete with a birch tree, fence and a stream with stepping-stones. Grow wheat for your livestock and flowers for creating wool dyes. Look after the baby Minecraft™ sheep, shear the dyed sheep and collect wool building blocks. Then get creative and build a huge sheep, parrot, heart or one of your own cool creations to decorate your farm! The Crafting Box 4.0

Bring your Minecraft® skills into the real world with this mega mix of Minecraft bricks, figures and accessories! What will you build first: the River Towers, with Steve and Alex defending the fortress from the zombie and Creeper™? The Cat Cottage, where the pair care for cats while blasting a Creeper with TNT? Or will you build an amazing Minecraft adventure of your own?

The Nether Portal Ambush

Enter the Nether portal and emerge at the border between the Crimson Forest and the Basalt Deltas. LEGO® Minecraft® The Nether Portal Ambush is filled with mobs to battle as you pass through the forest’s mushroom-filled trees: 2 magma cubes, a hoglin with its butting head and a ghast shooting discs from its mouth. Be careful – if the ghast damages your portal, you might be stuck in the Nether forever!

The Iron Golem

The sun is heading for the horizon and hostile mobs will soon be roaming the Minecraft™ landscape. You'll need to protect yourself and your baby pig! Mine the iron ore with your diamond pickaxe, smelt iron ingots in the furnace and craft iron blocks using the crafting table. Then use the pumpkin head to create the iron golem, and spring a surprise attack on the zombie!

The Animal Sanctuary

Care for baby animals at the LEGO® Minecraft® Animal Sanctuary. With 3 fun areas to explore – a fenced-in play-space with a food-storage room, an outdoor picnic area, and a cosy carpet where tired animals can rest – your guests will never want to leave! And, with so many mobs, you can also use them to expand other LEGO Minecraft sets (sold separately), such as The Turtle Beach House (21254).

The Panda Haven

If you like Minecraft® pandas, you’ll love this 3-storey panda house! Open the back to check out the different rooms, each filled with cool accessories for creative fun. Feel like a change? Reconfigure your panda house to sit up or stand on all 4 legs! Step outside into the bamboo jungle with an explorer. Feed cake to a panda and baby panda – but look out for the crossbow-carrying skeleton!

The Armoury

Enter the Minecraft® Armoury, where the Armoursmith works with an anvil, furnace, grindstone and lava-filled cauldron. Be careful not to spill lava on those rare terracotta tiles! Then join Alex as she inspects the armour. Open the chest to find a golden axe, enchanted trident, diamond sword, shield and other cool resources which you can use when you go through the Nether portal into a new adventure.

The First Night

Use the daylight hours wisely to survive The First Night! Build a shelter and enclosure to protect your livestock, craft a bed, oven and a chest, but make sure you're finished before nightfall if you wish to avoid the hissing Creeper™! Rebuild the set for more LEGO® Minecraft™ creations or combine with 21114 The Farm and other sets in the series for an even bigger Minecraft adventure! The Training Grounds

Create your own Minecraft® warrior hideaway! Above ground, it’s the coolest dojo. Press the block beneath the tree and – whoosh! – the trapdoor opens and whoever’s standing on it crashes down into the cave below. With its anvil, oven, armour stand and more, it’s the perfect place for blacksmithing. This 2-level building has got it all – including a skeleton! Quick, grab your sword!

The End Battle

Check out your cool dragon-slayer armour, then grab your ender pearl, potion and enchanted bow, and take an epic journey to the dayless End dimension for the ultimate Minecraft™ encounter!
